PULPGURU SOLUTIONS
Green Energy
Evaluate industrial energy options against a measured load, site constraints and operating requirements. Begin with a clear distinction between electricity and useful process heat.
Match the energy system to the demand
A pulp moulding project may need electricity and a process-specific source of heat. Establish the required conditions, operating schedule, peak loads and backup requirements before comparing technologies. An installed electrical rating does not directly describe fuel demand or annual energy use.
Use a utility balance with a defined boundary: equipment inlet conditions, conversion losses, distribution and control requirements, and responsibility for commissioning. Have the equipment supplier and competent energy designer agree the interfaces.
Compare options without assuming a universal solution
| Option to investigate | Questions for the feasibility study |
|---|---|
| Solar electricity | Site area, generation timing, electrical integration and applicable connection arrangements |
| Biomass-based heat | Delivered fuel specification, storage, supply continuity, thermal duty and emissions requirements |
| Heat recovery or efficiency measures | Measured recoverable energy, process compatibility and control needs |
| Waste or residue energy projects | Actual feedstock, technology suitability, permits and specialist engineering |
These are feasibility topics, not a list of installed PulpGuru projects or certified products. Scope, supply capability and specialist partners must be agreed for a proposed engagement.
Check fuel, safety and environmental requirements
For a biomass proposal, review feedstock moisture and composition, handling, storage and a realistic delivery plan. For electrical integration, involve a qualified designer. Thermal, pressure, fire and emissions requirements depend on the system and location and require professional review.
Do not use a generic energy-saving percentage or assume subsidy availability. Confirm current program conditions through MNRE or the relevant authority. Bureau of Energy Efficiency resources can provide further efficiency context. Neither link is an endorsement of PulpGuru or proof of project eligibility.
Prepare an energy project brief
Bring measured or supplier-supported electricity and heat profiles, operating hours, current energy sources, available site area, utility constraints and fuel information. Discuss a staged feasibility review before committing to generation capacity or making a savings claim.
Expert verification required: energy yield, tariffs, financial projections, fuel availability, emissions, safety design and approvals. This page supplies no guaranteed generation, payback or financial return.
